Rules and Conditions of entry for the starlight walk
You must register to take part. To register, each person must fill in an application form . All entries will be processed in the order we receive them.

NB: YOU CANNOT REGISTER ON THE NIGHT

Because places are limited, if you want to walk with friends please secure your places by sending in your entries together.

One cheque must be received with each entry. Please put your name and address on the back of your cheque. Please do not send cash in the post

Your registration fee covers all expenses, ie: T shirt, light breakfast, drinks etc. It also secures your place and is not refundable.

If you are unable to walk please let us know as soon as possible. You must not ‘give' your place to anyone else and it is important that you return your sponsorship form even if it has no entries.

All participants are responsible for their own medical condition, if in any doubt about your ability to finish the Starlight Walk or you have a medical condition consult your doctor prior to commencing your exercise programme.

The Starlight Walk is not a race and no walkers are allowed to run or jog. You can power walk but no walker must pass the nominated lead walkers.

Disabled entrants are welcome to take part although due to the nature of the event we ask you to contact the organisers prior to filling in this form as some disabilities might not find this event feasible. Please include your disability on the entry form. If a disabled person requires assistance from another person, this person must also enter the Starlight Walk but will not have to pay. Only guide dogs are accepted – no other pets or animals are permitted at the Starlight walk or on the event route.

On NO account is alcohol to be bought into. Or consumed prior to and during the event.

You are not permitted to use any of the sponsorship money you raise to pay for your expenses. All sponsorship money given to you must pass directly to The Peace Hospice.

We will confirm you have a place in writing. If your entry is unsuccessful please look out for the Starlight Walk 2008.

Data Protection Act
The Peace Hospice will process your personal data for the purpose of your entry to and participation of the Starlight Walk, keeping you informed about our work, promotions and future events.
